MN Governor proclaims it Kids' Chance Awareness Week

November 14-18 has been officially declared Kids' Chance Awareness Week in Minnesota, according to a proclamation issued on November 10 by Governor Mark Dayton.

Kids' Chance Awareness Week was established in 2015 to increase visibility through special outreach events in each state in which the national nonprofit organization has a presence. Together with its affiliates, Kids' Chance is focused on providing scholarships to the children of workers disabled or fatally injured in workplace accidents.

The SFM Foundation is a proud affiliate of Kids' Chance of America, and is also known as Kids' Chance of Minnesota and Kids' Chance of Iowa.
