SFM Employee-Sponsored Scholarship

Each year, an outstanding applicant is selected for a special scholarship funded by SFM employees

The award

In 2011, employees of SFM Mutual Insurance Company began sponsoring an annual scholarship for one applicant each year. The SFM Employee-Sponsored Scholarship is completely funded by SFM employees through employee donations and internal fundraisers organized by their charitable giving committee.

The award recognizes students who go above and beyond to volunteer and contribute to organizations either independently or through school programs. Recipients are generous with their time and talents, have a philanthropic heart, and want to help others by giving back to their communities or special interest organizations.
